Who Am I?
Our Birth Story:
Pushing Through Postpartum- Life After Birth, was founded in 2021, by Aurora (Rory) Cruz, LCSW.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has built a career of serving children and families, for the last 20 years.
The concept was inspired after giving birth to my "covid baby" in June of 2020, and researching outlets with little avail. I was left to manage my own feelings of adjusting to motherhood and living through a global pandemic, simultaneously which was no easy feat.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I valued the importance of having a strong support system. Especially after such a life altering event such as giving birth, and when that was not available to me, I decided to build one.
Here at Pushing Through Postpartum- Life After Birth, you will have the opportunity to engage in individualized parent workshops tailored to your specific needs.
